Meet Samantha Varvel, a lifestyle content creator and blogger with one of the most delightfully decorated homes we’ve ever seen! Samantha shares her thoughtfully curated home and finds with an audience of over 105K avid home decor fans and has created a space that is patterned to perfection. With each room weaving a different story, we were so excited to partner with Samantha to showcase our newest collection, Lagoon. You have created such a lovely home, did you grow up in a household that was just as immaculate or did you find your style as you grew older?
I grew up in many different homes in many different countries as my family moved frequently during my childhood. My mother always prioritized making each of those homes beautiful and inviting, and true to the spirit of the location in which we lived. It's something that I found so special and hope to give to my children as well, so I definitely enjoy and prioritize making the space we call home a beautiful one!
Which room / space do you love the most in your home?
We recently converted our formal dining room into a play space for the kids. We found that we only used it a handful of times per year and figured that in this stage of life what's more important is that the kids have an area that is central in the home where they can use their imaginations and play! It's a fun room because it still has the formal chinoiserie wallpaper and a crystal chandelier, but is currently decorated with a slide and tent and toys galore! Luckily we can still convert it back to a dining room for special occasions with a little effort, and it's definitely been the right decision for us.
It's a perfect Spring day, what are you cooking for lunch?
My husband is the chef in our family and loves to grill! We'd pair his steak with my favorite kale salad ("the new go-to") from What's Gaby Cookin' for a lovely spring meal!
Which piece are you the most excited about in the Lagoon Collection?
I just adore these plates! They are my favorite shade of blue and work so beautifully for everyday, indoor or outdoor! I love that they feel so modern and add some freshness to our otherwise pretty traditionally decorated home. I have to say the little vases are so cute and spark so much joy!
What color or pattern combo would you love to pair with Lagoon?
I am a sucker for gingham and love the modern take on the theme with the blue and cream on these check placemats and napkins! They pair so well with the Lagoon pieces.
What does a perfect Spring day look like with your little ones?
I always love visiting some of the gorgeous daffodil and tulip fields in Connecticut and New York during this time of year. The little ones look so adorable in their wellies and it is always a highlight to be back outside again enjoying the first bursts of nature after a long winter of being cooped up.

What is a home decor trend you are loving right now?
I love that color is coming back more than ever. I'm definitely a maximalist at heart so I jump at the opportunity to express myself with color in the home.
