Our newest hue was dreamed up with chef and author Alexis deBoschnek, whose recipes are known for their elegant, home-grown simplicity, and whose second cookbook, Nights & Weekends, is out now.
A collaboration rooted in place.
Verdant countryside, wild mountain views, fistfuls of herbs, gathered from the kitchen garden. It is from this land of green—the Catskill mountains, where Alexis lives and cooks—that Balsam was born. A green so deep it edges into dusky shadow—grounded, invigorating, inviting.

An egg drizzled with chili oil. A slice of leftover shortbread tarte. Lemony leeks and cod. Like the evergreen forests it was named for, Balsam acts as the perfect backdrop for a life of earthly delights.
