But too small for a sandwich and side. An odd size on both for me. I expected more of a smaller salad or bread plate size. Yet, plates are a bit small for sandwich and chips and salsa. I will try using them today. Also, my husband does microwave plates and bowls, so I am timid about him using them. He and my son love the color and shape of bowls and plates. We all love how they look."
