"I bought these in Plum almost exactly a year ago (06/2025). These are gently but consistently used at home and started noticing the glaze chipping/coming off along the edges of these plates around January of this year. It may be that the matte glazes are prone to this problem as the same is happening to the dinner plates I purchased in a different color matte glaze?"
"I love my Year & Day dishes!!! Next purchase: Small & Large Year & A Day bowls. What I would like to see Year & Day do is to allow the customer an option to mix Colors. For example offer a four bowl selection of different colors."

"My personal experience: i bought 2 bundles of plates — a total of 8 of each size. After a couple weeks of use, i regretted the decision and ended up spending more on better quality plates. Especially with the new BALSAM colorway, the chipping and scuffing was immediate. plates will be stacked, will bang up against each other in washing, and if the glaze cannot withstand daily use without chipping, they should not be described as "durable. ""
