Because red and orange have been done to death.
We love fall tablescapes (who doesn't) but we were growing a bit tired of the typical red, orange, and brown palette. So we went with a fresh approach for fall and leaned into all things green, including our Palm ceramics. We love the result - here's how we accomplished the look.
First, we started with our Everyday Palm Tablecloth. This gave us a nice base of that bluey/green color. We went for more of a buffet look so for this start with your back layer and then build forward. We got a variety of pumpkins/gourds from Trader Joe's. Go for a mix of green tones, textures and design to keep things interesting. Stack things on top of each other. Lean things against each other. This all creates some dimension. And get a lot! That will drive home the overall look you're going for.
Next we wanted to create some height so we used our Pitcher in Palm and some beautiful sage green branches that added both color and texture to our tablescape. The pitcher needed a bit more height so we put it on a riser that (mostly) blended in.
In terms of dishware we first added the Square Baker in Palm. Start with the bigger pieces to make sure there is space and then build around them.
Then we added Palm Big Plates right in the center since they are really the hero product here.
Then Small Plates and Small Bowls went in on the right. And our new Mini Bowls got tucked into an open spot behind the Big Plates.
For Flatware we decided to go with Polished Steel to stay in line with the cool color palette, but also give it a pop of shine.
Then instead of matching the napkins with the tablecloth we went with the Everyday Napkins in Moon to play off of our white white pumpkins.
And voila! A gorgeous, green fall tablescape. It feels different and fresh, and will be sure to impress your guests.
